Over the weekend, I spoke with friends that 'virtually' shared Easter/Passover/other celebration meals, usually a time for family gathering that includes travel. A tradition that has been changed – I say ‘changed’, not ‘broken’ or negative words- in both senses, not being able to travel or gather in lieu of preventing the spread of #covid19 we are all fighting. In addition to this change, the ‘news’ on continuing staying at home with no end date in sight are also part of that ever-change in which we are living in, a moving target. This constant uncertainty about ‘what we are going to do next’, being ‘next’ the future, made me think, ‘where is the future?’ But not in a fatalistic way at all. Rather in a way that I possibly didn’t (ever?) look at the future before. The future is tomorrow. The future is this evening. The future is the upcoming hour, the upcoming minute. Because we do not know, whether we are going to be able to travel, or gather or -fill in the blank- in the next months, we can see that Future is Now. Future is Day by Day, Future is Here. An optimistic mantra for all of us, especially when until now, in this fast paced society, we have certainly not valued our Here and Now, centering, meditative, staying present that we – from a Wellbeing perspective- should cultivate. More than ‘the new normal’, we are living in ‘the new future’. Let’s do what we can do today … #Today. Stay safe, folks! How is everyone doing? Remember, I am going to ask, genuinely, as I know a lot of you are doing with your circles and people in your life.
With what the news and government are telling us about this week and how bad it is going to be, I would like to continue our series with a note of #positivity. What #COVID19 is giving us Part II: I was opening a yogurt and you know most of them have little messages under the cover and I got this one - see picture- which seemed so appropriate for the current times. GOOD ENERGY IS CONTAGIOUS. So, yes, like a virus, we can spread and share GOOD Energy. Therefore, my message to all today is: what are the positive, good energy thoughts and emotions that you can share with those around you? Whichever those are, they can help others who may be feeling stuck. Lift others, give that hand. What helps you get up and stay alert, safe? Make your GOOD ENERGY contagious. KEEP GOING #weareallinthistogether #motivation #Gratitude |
